Sewing the River / Gwnïo’r Afon

Ar ôl taith o Ddolgarrog i Drefriw ac ymlaen i Lanrwst, gan gasglu cwestiynau ar gyfer yr afon ar hyd y ffordd, mae Gwisg yr Afon bellach yn newid siâp - ac fe'ch gwahoddir i gymryd rhan.

Os oes ganddoch ddiddordeb mewn gwnïo, lliwio, gwehyddu a darganfod mwy am ddŵr croyw yn Nyffryn Conwy, dewch draw i Cog, Dolgarrog a byddwch yn rhan o’r gwaith celf esblygol a chydweithredol hwn.  Disgwyliwch arbrofi, archwilio a rhannu gwybodaeth a sgiliau - mae croeso i bawb ac nid oes angen unrhyw brofiad gwnïo blaenorol.

After a journey from Dolgarrog to Trefriw to Llanrwst, gathering questions for the river along the way, the river dress is shapeshifting, and you’re invited to get involved.

If you’re interested in stitching, dyeing, weaving and braiding the freshwater fabric of the Conwy Valley, come along to Cog Dolgarrog and be part of this evolving, collaborative textile artwork.  Expect experimentation, exploration and sharing of knowledge and skills - everyone is welcome and no prior sewing experience is required.
